This time i’ll share somethin’ of what ‘m doin’ to earn a livin’ — Last May 29 was my first meeting with a new client & what makes it more challenging this was also their first time to consult an Ad Agency.

It was always a close door meeting with VP Rhais Gamboa.. GM Papa Boy.. AM Noel San Juan and with some meetings other mgrs. would be present too.

We created the LOGO of their new program … brainstorm with the NAME of that new program … did the COPYWRITING for the PROMATS (promo materials) & of course, CONCEPTUALIZE & DESIGN all of it.

We came up with MAILBOX DESIGN (w/ die-cut) for the BROCHURE… FIRST-AID KIT DESIGN (w/ die-cut) for a DETAILER & a TELEPHONE DESIGN for the FLYER also w/ die-cut…— I presented it to them & fortunately & ‘m glad to say they ALL like the idea … the concept — and approved the materials. *a very big smile*

I won’t go into details anymore about the entire project — just wanna share the feelin’ of achievin’ & accomplishin’ somethin’ out of hard-work & the passion for what you are doin’ (– realizin’ that you can actually do those things..just continue believin’ in yourself & equippin’ yourself with enough knowledge — coz there’s always NEW things to learn EVERYDAY … i myself NEEDS to learn A LOT ..there’s sooo many things i have/need to know)

It really feels great & will make you strive & continue to come up with innovativeness

The Sunday service yesterday in our church - GCF (Greenhills Christian Fellowship) was about the so-called busy people in the corporate world…So busy with work — spendin’ most of their time in the office…meeting after meeting…conferences…beating unendless daily deadlines…over time…wishin’ there would be more hours in a day … havin’ 24 hours a day seems not enough.When one arrived home too damn tired to even check the kids & spend even a li’l time with ‘em — or rather the kids are already fast asleep when the corporate parents arrived home…and the saddest part is not havin’ time to worship God.

Mr. Glenn a very busy man from the oil industry was our speaker yesterday & he shared how can we serve the Lord in spite of our busy life. As the president ( yes, you read it right — he IS the President) of the SEA OIL Company, a fellow GCFer…His company is practicing Christian values;rules & every Monday morning the top executives of Sea Oil is devoting their time in sharing business principles havin’ John Maxwell’s 21 irrefutable laws of leadership as their basis & havin’ Pastor Dizon & Pastor Ed as their guide/spiritual mentors.

He is also encouragin’ his employees to attend fun activities of GCF such as the GCF Airsoft team & other sports & fun activites of the church..From the moment he opened the Christian spirit in his company the employees said that the atmosphere is different..more warm,homey,highly driven,motivated employees fills the workplace

He is bringin’ the ministry in his workplace .

To share some blessings that are happening to SEA Oil — Now, they are the first oil company to launch the alternative fuel which is the ethanol…due to the continuously oil price increase — they have always thought of alternative fuel (definitley cheaper) but Mr. Glenn always tell it will still be 3 yrs from now or more…He also couldn’t believe it that 5 mos later since last April (when he was discussin’ it with Pastor Ed) that they, Sea Oil will launch it now.He claims it’s God’s work..when we have faith in HIM…He will do the rest & will truly bless us.

A very inspirin’ message from somebody who is a legitimate certified busy workaholic man & yet put GOD as his priority above all else .. He is also into our Growth Group ( GCF Growth group meets once a week usually every Wednesday night 7-9pm - studyin’ the bible) — now, tell me who’s busy? —- a matter of time management & settin’ priorities..cliche as it may sound but … we have to put God first above all.

AMEN.

Today was the last day of my daughter Czeskah’s 1st quarter exam — so, i promised her we will go out & bond together with 3 of her classmates & of course the respective mommies.

We had lunch at Sitio,The Podium & when d kids finished their food they rushed to PowerStation (as always!) together wid d yayas & gabby’s dad,Buddy - d only guy.

Now, it was time for us mom to bond more & share stories bout our kids… I thank God for this new circle of friends I’m goin’ out with: Melanie - an international PAL flight attendant/stewardess.She is Gabby’s mom…Next is Kristine - d Ever Bilena Queen — literally — oh! watch her in Magandang Umaga Pilipinas she will be givin’ beauty tips for the whole year round (of course, that portion is brought to you by Ever Bilena/Care Line).She is Stacey’s mom & Marge a full time mom @ present coz she’s 5 mos preggy to her 2nd baby.She is Treacy’s mom.And also Michelle a top executive at Deutsche Bank-who wasnt around today.Michelle is Ysabel’s mom

Aside fom the fact that our children are classmates & belong to d same group BFF-Best Friends Forever (obviously they are grade schooler based on their group name alone *smile*) We all have the same faith in GOD..we are all Christians & go to the same church & our kids go to the same Sunday school.

Our friendship blossom because of our daughters — we go to the same bday parties… school activities…seminar like Parenting Makes a Difference…sharin’ assignments if one is absent & well, we - Czeskah & I are always their tawagan coz Czeskah is never absent from class…sharin’ tips on project makin’…sharin’ snacks/school baon…goin’ to each other’s places…watchin’ theater plays together…movies together…& even sharin’ lockers (grde1) now on their 2nd grade everybody have their own lockers *big smile*

They are the only circle of friends i hang out with regularly & we go out with our kids all the time.Ika nga, ang lakad ng anak ko, lakad ko na rin.
We frequent the malls in Ortigas Center since it’s near the school of our kiddos esp. Podium & Shangri-La mall & drain our pockets playin’ @ Power Station.

We love to eat & our kids too — We frequent restos the nearby malls of GCF-ICS esp. in Podium & Shang Mall.

We are all stage mothers & very into it in all of our daughters assignments..quizzes..quarterly exams..projects..programs…we make it a point that our children come to school well prepared for every subject –

Umiikot mundo namin with our kids — that we all became close because our kids are the best of friends & eventually the moms too are the best of friends

We bond with our kids — havin’ d best of both worlds…We need not leave our kids to meet up with our friends coz we actually see each other because of our kids.

And there’s this real feeling of love & care we have for all of our children…we take care of them as if they are our own kids too.Like Michelle & daughter Ysabel will bring/borrow & treat Czeskah with them without me..Czes & I watched Wizard of Oz with Ysabel minus Michelle…Melanie nursed Czeskah when she got a bruise in school. I brought Gabby to Podium without Melanie..Czeskah played in Stacey’s house without me, Kristine changed her clothes…I dressed up Stacey durin’ a program & lend her a ribbon…I fetched Stacey in school…Czeskah is stayin’ in Mini Stop with Stacey,their Mini Stop…I  took a video of Gabby’s 8th bday & for the next quarter ill be givin’ Stacey the reviewer i’l be makin for Czeskah…Yes, we are all doin’ that to our kids.

We are always havin’ clean fun when we are together & we just can’t wait to bond again especially our kids.Our next stop is Paranaque.Buddy & Melanie’s house (Gabby’s parents — btw, Gabby’s a girl)Buddy will cook for us and next would be Stacey’s bday party on the 24th.

We are like a family….God is really good all the time & I’m really very happy & very thankful that I have this kind of people around me.Such a good influence…such a blessing…
