anyone starts now!

Wednesday, May 16th, 2007

Through my surfing yesterday, I came across the world of bloggers both ordinary people &  big celeb  REAL blog accounts — goin’ over the details of their stories  & of course their photos with topics mostly about food  & travel, I said to myself mmmm, we share  the same interests BUT we have totally different set of viewers/readers: they share their thoughts .. their life with the whole world (millions of people) while I ONLY share mine to my 559 friends to date.

Been in friendster since Nov 2003  &  since then my account remains to be a private profile only my friends alone can view &  access  my account & I am comfortable that way — a lot of my  friends told me already that they regularly visit my account & they enjoy viewing my photos as well as my kiddos photos. My pictures is eqaul to my life.If you are updated in viewing my photos then you are updated with my life already even if we don’t see each other for years.

I  have NO flickr, multiply, shutterfly, photobucket, pbase, blogspot & any other photo blog site ( does yahoo photos counts? -limited  to very few friends & you have to send access to friends before they can actually view it - only if you feel like sharing) coz i just don’t feel like linking my life to the world per se afraid of i don’t exactly know why but I’m afraid period.I would love sana to share my thoughts, my views, my  captured moments, my life - going really public hinders me from doing it.

I wonder why my shopaholic sister deciced to make her friendster public (anyone can view) from the start of  her joining  here, also nov 2003 (she actually made my account.yep! she’s the one who signed me up here) coz she’s really a private person. For those of you who knows my sister (163 peeps - our common friends here in friendster) she would most likely  to  go on  private profile & I’m the one who’ll go public but it’s the other way around … & I realized now, after really really trying  to understand, that it’s okay to go public after all…

so, anyone starts now.

April 28, 07 was one of my "gluttonest" day this summer! After having bite sized fried pork a la adobo paired with mixed  veggies for lunch  @ home, we headed the hospital  to visit my Uncle again - my  dad, sis & i bought a  dozen of ensaymada &  mamon combined  & a  famiy size all meat cheesy pops from Pizza Hut - munch a slice.

We left the hospital by 3 pm rushing our way for a 3pm Princess party in Northeast Greenhills. At the 1st party I started with the chocolate fountain - dipping bananas &  mallows…after a few more chika-chika buffet’s ready! (can be mistaken as a wedding buffet) — heavy yummy meals in line — name it!  beef.pork.chicken.fish.pasta.dessert (lechon was d best!) my  plate was full with a li’l bit of every viand - I can’t hardly breathe (burp!)– we left the princess party by 5pm, my kids  & I weren’t able to watch the bubble show anymore (which  btw, my sis  told me was very nice) my kids missed the loot bags too since we are again rushing for a swimming partry in Makati  that we can’t  afford to miss — it’s  the 10th  bday  party of my  daughter’s bestfriend Ysabel.Approx. 5:35pm we were already in the parking lot running so as not to miss the elevator that’s going up. As soon  as  we arrived had  beso-beso with my close firends (the mommies) & I  was immediately handed a plate & there I was again in the buffet table ( just a travel time pagitan). Again, there were pasta, KFC  friend chicken, Chicken  pastel, beef morcon, pork bbq, pepperoni & cheese cheesy pops pizza  & ate everything in moderation. That plate lasted for an hour  &  a half since I’m quite full ( okay, ‘m full quit  quite). In between, there’s cashew nuts  in the  table for pica-pica & I can’t resist nuts.

Around 630pm,my sis called me up saying  that she’s already in Greenbelt3 telling me that I can follow there as soon as I’m okay to leave the swimming party. Before leaving, I had 2 servings of double dutch ice cream  & a small slice of chocolate cake (burp!burp!).

Past 8pm, I arrived in Bubba Gump (good thing it’s only walking distance from the swimming party) — aaaah! kain  na naman — before heading the place I already texted Tria, my childhood Davao  friend  that ‘am super super full from one party  to another.Good grief,  they  just had their dinner too — so we had dessert in Bubba  gump — but hey! it’s  bubba  gump –  that means big american serving size … I am an automatic  bottomless  iced  tea drinker & can finished  four refills  but not this time one  round lasted  for an hour before I asked for my 2nd & last refill. For dessert/pica-pica we have ice cream cake, nachos & fries (burp!burp!burp)good  thing, we keep on laughing out loud ( as if we own the place or rented it for a private function) so I was able to burn  some of the carbs & calories I just had.

Twas fun!fun!fun! reminiscing the good ole davao days with people in my growing years.Tita evelyn is still the same tita Evelyn physically (aftr what …. 20 yrs?)  & of  course, pictorial to  the max!

But ’twas sad!sad!sad! gaining  more & more lbs each day…

****  the  next day April 29 — mom treated dinner @ Dencio’s greenhills  - we had sinigang na  baboy,kare-kare & sisig –whew! all porky-pork! yummy! — we walked  from  Dencio’s  to Promenade  & headed Razon’s for dessert — we all had a round of the  best summer partner  — Halo-halo! -  the  best of the best halo-halo!

whattalife!… —puro kain!
