MANGO BRAVO!
Yesterday, I ate 2pcs of sweet ripe Mango for breakfast. After lunch, I ate four cheeks of manggoes ( 2 pcs minus the buto).
Then came afternoon snack. My sis & I headed Via Mare, Promenade for a merienda.I wasn’t thinkin’ of any Mango snack on our way to Promenade instead I was craving for fresh lumpia & other all time fave filipino merienda in Via Mare.
We got the table with the sofa & as the waiter handed us the menu — oooohhh! Puto Maya caught my attention. Of course, I still order fresh lumpia - Ianne got bagnet with rice & pinakbet - yes! for snack
& I added Puto Maya. Puto Maya is decorated slices of sweet ripe manggoes topped with a cup of biko sprinkled with sesame seeds…. mmmmmm
As the Puto Maya was served to us - my sis & I strongly feel that it’s perfect to pair it with hot purong cacao. So, I ordered tsokolate & we poured it over the Puto Maya & we shared the puto maya savoring it in every bite!
Gourdo’s was our first stop after having our snack. While we were there I was about to buy a Mango scent oil - ‘m very near the cashier already but think twice coz mejo nakakhilo.Nevertheless, I got hooked with the Mango scent for a couple of minutes of all the scented oil they offer.
We eneded the day doing grocery in Unimart.
I eneded the night, with a midnght snack of guess what? – a whole pc. of Mango.
I woke up this morning eating four slices of sweet ripe mango before bringing cassy to school.
My daughter Cassy is such a junior – she loves mango sooo much too & she have it for lunch.
